More Purple Martin Bird Houses
Accommodate Purple Martin Families in an Attractive Martin Bird House System
There are quite a variety of designs for purple martin houses, and we have shown some gourd houses and other purple martin houses on other pages. To show you a few more of the options available, there are a few more displayed below.
Purple martins, of course, are high rise occupants, so you will need a pole on which to fix all of the bird houses shown below.
The first picture (left) is of the Perky Pet purple martin house, which has a very sleek, space age looking design. However, despite its space age look, it is also a design that is very precise in the way it caters for purple martins and the safety of their offspring.

The six house version is shown, but larger versions are available. The living quarters are ideal sizes for the martins, and the health and well being of the babies when they hatch. It has a unique predator prevention feature, and also excellent water proofing which helps to reduce infant mortality.
The second picture (left) is the 8 house, 4 storey mansion by Coates. Each bird house has 2 rooms for extra protection, the first being the entrance lobby from which the parent birds go through a second hole to the nesting area. This stylish purple martin abode is certainly a desirable residence for the martins themselves.
The final picture is of another purple martin house, or mansion, by Coates. In fact, it is the Coates original purple martin house. Built to the usual Coates standards, this martin residential block will accommodate 16 families. You can just imagine all those martins, and later their fledglings, flying around these homes on a pole.
