One of the great things about setting up a garden office is that you can choose the location so you have the best outlook. Look at the picture above, and you see a cosy office set by a garden pond. Choosing a nice outlook is a good idea for those people who find they work better with a nice view. I know I certainly do.
A home office, though, is for business, so view is not the feature the average person looks for. Most people are looking for a building that is comfortable, keeps the rain out, is easy to maintain and to keep warm in the winter. Also, when buying a garden office the ability of the structure to fend off the UK weather and still last for many years is important. In fact, as garden offices are expensive items, their longevity is very important for most people.
With working at home becoming ever more common, and housing space at a premium, demand for home offices grows and along with it the variety of designs. Those shown here are from a modern range of garden offices by Forest. As you can see, they are stylish, and look bright and airy for working in.
The first office pictured is the Forest Standard Lifespace garden office, which is 9'8 x 7'8. For most who work at home, that is sufficient space to set up a comfortable working office. It is wise to plan on paper how much space you need to work efficiently and comfortably. being too cramped can not only be inefficient but for some people can cause a lot of irritation over time, leaving you wishing you had bought a larger office for the garden.
The second picture is a Premium version of the Lifespace but the same size as the Standard. For those looking for rather more office space, the final picture is of another Premium Lifespace office, which is 12'4 x 9'1 and is an insulated version.
