More Garden Finials For Your Garden Ornaments
Also: Finials
When you are considering garden ornaments and statues, one place to look for an idea is at the top of a spire or gable. That is where you could traditionally find finials. However, finials can now be found perhaps more often in gardens, where they may stand on top of a pedestal.
The garden variants of finials are not always the traditional fleur-de-lys though. However, one of the most popular is a fruit, a pineapple finial, and one is pictured left. This fiberstone finial stands an impressive 32 inches high, perhaps even large enough to stand alone without a pedestal should you have an appropriate place in the garden. Coming in a wide range of colours, this finial has a traditional appearance about it as the stone is aged with effective and modern methods.
Animal statues are very popular in modern gardens, and this trend has moved into the realm of finials too. The parrot finial, shown left, is a very good example of that. This delightful cockatoo like finial is not so tall, at 21 inches high but, nevertheless, can make an excellent addition to your garden ornaments and decor.
The last finial picture is a bit more unusual than the previous two. Its unusual design makes it a distinctiove feature in any garden, and it will stand out at 33 inches high. Again in fiberstone, this garden finial also comes in a variety of colours.
