When it comes to floral decor, roses are one of the most, if not the most, popular type of flower to feature in designs. Floral curtains and bedding often incorporate roses into the design. Even in carpets you frequently see roses.

 

It is not just in the major furnishing items, though, that you will find roses. As you can see in the pictures here, roses can just as easily, and perhaps more effectively, be used for lesser soft furnishings, too.

The pictures here are of a range of floral decor called Vintage Elegance, an apt name for a traditional rose based design.

If you do not want a floral wallpaper, which can be a bit overwhelming if the pattern is too strong, then on a plain wall a wall panel can be an effective way of displaying flowers. The panel (pictured top left) is a good example, in subtle tones that can blend with a wide range of decor, yet effectively showing off the rose design.

A tapestry throw, in a matching rose design for the wall panel, is featured in the middle picture. This is a flexible idea for your living area, being easily moved into different positions or locations. The classic floral design of the tapestry transfers well to a throw. Finally, the last picture is of a pillow from the same vintage collection.
