Easter Ornaments For The Garden

When the Easter holiday comes around, it is nothing like Christmas for special decorations and ornaments, either in the home or garden. However, some of us do like to have some ornamental symbols of Easter around, and an Easter bunny or two in the garden is one way to achieve that.

Rabbit garden statues are fairly popular for the garden at any time, but with the Easter bunny now a firm part of the Easter scene for children, it is now a time of year when a few new rabbit statues and ornaments appear in the garden.

Do you have an eye for the unusual; or a desire to make a big impression; or even just a sense of humour. Imagine having an Easter gathering at your home, with the rabbit statue on the left greeting people at the garden gate. At over 6 feet tall, this is some Easter bunny. It is truly an eye catcher and will bring a big smile to many a visiting or passing face. Made in fiberstone or fibreglass, this rabbit statue comes in a range of finishes. The price range, though, is definitely high end.

There are, of course, other rabbit statues and ornaments for the garden with a more modest size, and price, and of designs which will appear more familiar to you.

 

 

Rabbits look at their best and most amusing when they are on their hind quarters, with ears erect in an alert position. That also makes a good pose for a rabbit statue or ornament, and the example on the left is quite realistic, and would look good in most gardens. This bunny has a modest height of less than 2 feet, so is not imposing like Tuxedo Bunny. It is rather more like the real thing, though, rather than from the world of Hollywood fiction.

If you like the idea of something whimsical in the Easter bunny line, but do not want to go to the extreme of Tuxedo rabbit at 6 ft tall, then the charming rabbit with horn statue shown left may fit the bill.
