Bluebird Houses For Your Garden
If you are a bluebird admirer, and love to see bluebirds in your garden, then not only can you help them by feeding, but also provide a bluebird house or two. That way you may have them nesting in your garden, so you can observe them rearing young from the comfort of your patio chair.
Bluebirds have to compete with other birds for nesting sites, especially sparrows. Also, the nests need to be as safe as possible so that the eggs are less likely to be eaten, and the young less likely to be predated. However, bluebirds are so popular, there are specially made bluebird houses around that make the breeding season for the birds as safe as possible.

Wooden bird boxes, of course, do look good in the garden, especially is they are good quality, such as the special bluebird house shown above, made by Covedale. This bird house is made from wood, and as you can see is fine quality and nicely finished. It is designed to keep out starlings, and discourage sparrows from staying to nest.
Another wooden bluebird house is pictured left. This large bird house is also high quality and attractive, with its own safety features to protect the young from predators.
There is no doubt that having birds around the garden enhances the summer outdoor experience for millions of people, and having them nest in your own garden is a joy and a privilege. So why not encourage them some more, and provide a nice dry home for a pair of bluebirds?
